This is the SHOEI VFX-WR BLAZON, the next iteration of the brand’s favorite VFX-W. The helmet’s liner makes use of MEDS. It’s an inserted ESP liner module made to absorb and take sudden impacts due to accidents. For its shell, it uses the high-performance AIM+, which combines fiberglass and organic fibers for a lightweight and elastic structure.

Motion Energy Distribution System (M.E.D.S)

The inner shell of the SHOEI VFX-WR BLAZON helmet comes with M.E.D.S technology. With this, the first layer of the EPS shell absorbs impact. An extra middle layer of the EPS liner lessens rotational acceleration energy to the head. It’s an advanced system featuring a double inner shell.

M.E.D.S technology offers riders added security for challenging rides, like when riding on a cross circuit. The helmet’s front also has a renewed, premium look, and the chin ventilations were adjusted.

Enhanced Ventilation

The VFX-WR BLAZON helmet features multiple venting and extraction. Several intake vents are on the upper part and brow area. Multiple outer vents are on the neck and spoiler areas of the helmet. With that, riders will feel more comfortable even on long rides.

AIM+ Outer Shell

The SHOEI VFX-WR BLAZON helmet is extremely safe. The AIM or Advanced Integrated Matrix reduces the helmet’s weight while keeping the shell strong, lightweight, and durable. This material is made up of high performance organic and high-quality composite fibers that efficiently absorb shock.

Emergency Quick Release System (EQRS)

SHOEI added the EQRS technology on the VFX-WR BLAZON. This feature makes the removal of cheek pads easier in case of an accident, to reduce head and neck injuries. It’s an essential element of the helmet to keep the rider safe at all times.

The VFX-WR BLAZON helmet also comes with a double-D closure that is sturdy and reliable.

Certifications and Warranties

The SHOEI VFX-WR meets several safety standards. In Japan, this helmet is JIS approved and has also been officially recognized by MFJ. It comes with a limited warranty that covers all manufacturing damages within five years.

The available sizes for the SHOEI VFX-WR BLAZON include S, M, L, and XL. It comes in three different designs: TC-1 (Red/Black), TC-5 (Black/Grey), and TC-6 (White/Black).
