Aero Shape for Design and Performance

Because aerodynamics of a helmet affects the load on a rider’s neck, SHOEI better improved the shape of the X-7 ZORK. The company performed repeated tests in a large wind tunnel facility to ensure the efficiency of spoilers and vents.

PINLOCK® EVO lens to Prevent Fog

SHOEI included PINLOCK EVO lens for the Z-7 ZORK. Its design helps prevent fogging on the shield, which is common during rainy weather and in low temperature. The lens ensures clear and comfortable vision in all riding conditions.

CWR-1 Shield for Clear and Natural Vision

The CWR-1 Shield is a newly developed feature for the SHOEI Z-7 ZORK. With improved optical properties, it provides precise and natural vision while minimizing distortion.

CWR-1 features different thickness and radius on each area of the shield. For the shield’s ribs at the top and bottom, these eliminate bending caused by wind pressure.

AIM: Advanced Integrated Matrix

AIM is composed of sturdy fiberglass and laminated 3D organic fiber. The Z-7 ZORK helmet consists of AIM, which gives the shell its tough, durable, and elastic properties.

Comfortable Fit and Firm Hold

A comfortable yet secure helmet fit is essential when riding, so SHOEI applied these properties for the Z-7 ZORK. The shape of the shell’s bottom significantly affects the fit of a helmet, especially when wearing or removing it.

The Z-7 ZORK features a 3D-shaped polyurethane foam pad at the bottom to provide support on the cheek area. It also prevents unnecessary noise from entering the helmet.

The 3D Full Support Inner Type IV on the center pad effectively absorb moisture and sweat. Also, a red mesh material is present, accenting and giving the helmet a sportier look.

Certifications and Warranties

The SHOEI Z-7 ZORK is JIS-certified for safety. The company covers all manufacturing defects within five years upon purchase. However, it’s good to note that the warranty does not cover damages caused by the driver.

The Z-7 ZORK has one color, the TC-7, which is a combination of pink and white. For its sizes, these include XL, S, M, and L.
