AIM Shell

AIM or Advanced Integrated Matrix is SHOEI’s shell structure. It’s composed of strong, complex layers of glass fiber and 3D-formed organic fabrics.

Unlike the Z-6, the Drag and Lift of SHOEI Z-7 EQUATE have improved by 5% and 1%, respectively. For its aerodynamic aspects, it directly affects the load and pressure on a rider’s neck.

SHOEI also optimized the aerodynamic shape of the helmet, making it firmer and more practical for use. It is done via repetitive tests via wind tunnel in a huge facility.
