The SHOEI J-Cruise II ADAGIO is one of the helmets under the J-Cruise II series, the predecessor of J-Cruise. It’s for urban riders looking for high-end open-face touring helmets for daily use. This model combines its predecessor’s features and new technologies, plus it doesn’t compromise on safety and comfort.

Ventilation System

The heat that a rider feels in a helmet has a direct effect on their fatigue. To solve this common problem, the J-Cruise II ADAGIO keeps its interior cool with proper ventilation.

SHOEI performed repeated tests in its wind tunnel facility to improve this helmet’s ventilation performance. There is another intake hole added to the upper air intake to increase airflow by 30% more than its predecessor.

Micro-Ratchet Chinstrap

SHOEI uses a micro-ratchet design for the J-Cruise II ADAGIO helmet’s chin strap for easy and safe use. It’s easy to adjust even while wearing gloves.

This chin strap features latches that always hook on in two places when locked. When the buckle lever is past a certain point, the chin strap opens.

Sun Visor

For the SHOEI J-Cruise II ADAGIO, SHOEI extended the sizes of the external face shield and the drop-down sun visor. These provide additional protection against wind, dirt, road debris, and the sun’s rays.

The sun visor is distortion-free and blocks 99% of UV rays. The external face shield is compatible with PINLOCK EVO.

AIM Shell and Ratchet Chin Strap

The J-Cruise II ADAGIO helmet features an outer shell made with AIM or Advanced Integrated Matrix. It combines multiple layers of organic fabrics and fiber glass to make the helmet lightweight, elastic, and durable. For the chin strap, it has a ratchet-type closure to keep its lid in position once worn.

Interior Lining

A fully removable and washable antibacterial interior lining is present in the J-Cruise II ADAGIO. This material is called the 3D Max Dry Interior Liner. It absorbs and carries away moisture to keep it dry and prevent discomfort when worn.

This interior lining comes with ear pads for reducing noise. These are replaceable by SENA SRL2 Communication Systems’ speakers. For the cheek pads, these vary by thickness so it can be changed based on the user’s face shape.

Certifications and Warranties

For safety purposes, the SHOEI J-Cruise II ADAGIO helmet is JIS approved. A warranty period of five years covers all manufacturing defects of this helmet.
