Wake Stabilizer

Wake Stabilizer is a unique function of all OGK Kabuto helmets. It controls airflow near the cap while driving to reduce fatigue and pressure on the rider.

The company used CFD or Computational Fluid Dynamics to improve the helmet’s aerodynamic performance. During the development of the helmet, OGK Kabuto performed wind tunnel experiments to optimize its performance.

Single Action Shield System

The Single Action Shield System enables easy removal of the shield by pulling it while pressing the shield buttons.

Installation of the Pinlock Original Insert Lens

The OGK Kabuto AVAND2 helmet allows for the installation of the Pinlock Original Insert Lens. It’s an accessory that suppresses fogging and cloudiness of the shield.

Shell Material

The outer shell of the OGK Kabuto AVAND2 is made of compact, lightweight thermos plastic shell or T.P.S. This material is formed by injection molding. The thermoplastic cap is made of a high-performance resin material that is resistant against impact.

For the inner shell, it’s made of a low-density polyethylene liner that absorbs impact.

COOLMAX Interior Lining

Since the inner lining of a helmet determines its heat factor, OGK Kabuto used COOLMAX for the AVAND2’s interior. This material features the COOLMAX AIR technology, which makes use of yarns with propeller-shaped cross-sections. With that, the interior lining provides superior moisture management, quick-drying, and breathability.

This interior lining provides adequate comfort to eliminate heat or warmth even during long rides. It works excellently in drawing out moisture from the skin. It’s composed of nylon bound edges that prevent fraying, and it’s also foldable for easy storage.

The AVAND2 helmet is JIS approved, which guarantees its safety and durability.

OGK Kabuto provides a five-year warranty from the date of purchase of this helmet. In case of a crash, the company has a discounted program for replacements.

AVAND2- Helmet Colors and Sizes

The OGK Kabuto AVAND2 comes in four different sizes that riders can choose from to get the perfect fit. These are small, medium, large, and extra-large.
