ARAI XD DRAGON Dragon

ARAI designed the ARAI XD DRAGON and turned it into a helmet especially for riders of naked bikes. It’s a fiberglass-composite model created similarly to the rest of ARAI’s top-notch helmets.

It only means that this specific model is built and designed to an extremely high standard. With that, it shares its overall shape and a lot of features with most of the company’s current high-end models.

XD DRAGON Features

R75 Shape

Similar to another helmet from ARAI, the XD DRAGON shares the same design present on the much rounder R75 helmet. It takes the same rounded shape to better glance off objects, especially during accidents.

The ARAI XD DRAGON also features a highly exhibited peripheral banding technology. Here, straightened bands of fiber cover the helmet, passing around the eye section to enhance the helmet’s strength and rigidity.

Chin Curtain

This XD DRAGON helmet features the chin curtain which highlights the helmet’s egg-shaped outer shell. Not only that, but the curtain helps block the unnecessary intrusion of turbulent air from under the helmet.

It boosts the negative pressure to optimize the chin vent’s function by taking in more air along the mouth portion.

Just like its name states, the ARAI XD DRAGON features a dragon on its exterior. Together with it are a couple of Japanese characters written on its side.

PB-SNC² Shell

The ARAI XD DRAGON’s build sports the PB-SNC². It is created from unique synthetic and super fibers that are assembled by ARAI’s experts.

Its shell offers outstanding flexibility and tensile strength while keeping the entire form lightweight.

Eco-Pure Liner

The interior of the ARAI XD DRAGON consists of the Eco-Pure Liner. It aids in maintaining the helmet’s neutral pH level that’s close to the skin. Also, it features a soft new frame material that’s more comfortable. Plus, it has detachable temple pads and a replaceable crown pad for a better fit.

One-Piece Multi-Density Liner

There’s a one-piece multi-density liner present on the XD DRAGON. It provides extra protection when using the helmet and provides aerodynamic features while keeping the helmet lightweight for use.

XD DRAGON is JIS and SNELL-certified, so users can guarantee that the helmet is quality-made and efficient for use. Like the other helmets produced by ARAI, it is covered by their 5-year warranty for convenience.

Riders can choose from a variety of sizes when they opt for the ARAI XD DRAGON. The sizes range from Medium, Large, and X-Large. For their measurements, they’re 57-58cm, 59-60cm, and 61-62cm respectively.
