The ARAI VZ-RAM HARADA TOUR is one of the latest models under the Legend Rider Harada Tetsuya lineup.

It’s one of the models that features an open-face design that comes with a VAS feature installed in the helmet. This helmet comes with features that guarantee protection, security, comfort, and aesthetics.

The legendary racer, Harada Tetsuya, was the champion in the 1993 Road Race World Championship. He has a total of 17 wins and 55 podiums mostly from Japanese competitions.

Aero Stabilizer

An Aero Stabilizer is present on ARAI VZ-RAM HARADA TOUR, giving an amazing effect when it comes to regulating turbulence. The helmet’s Aero Fins are made for maximum speed racing, while the Racing Diffuser significantly enhances quietness. Furthermore, it controls helmet glare and optimizes stability.

ARAI Pro Shade System for VAS-V Compatible Helmets

It’s common for riders to utilize retractable sun-visors to protect against sun glare. Often, these are between the helmet’s inner and outer shell. But since this design usually affects the helmet’s performance, ARAI constructed the Pro Shade System to eliminate such issues.

Pro Shade System is entirely fixed to the outer portion of the helmet. So, it won’t negatively affect the functionality and efficiency of the VZ-RAM HARADA TOUR.

The Pro Shade System is a little peak that’s fixed in place. Unlocking it is smooth and seamless. With that, users only need to pull the system forward, then flipped down to act as a sun-visor.

Design, Build, and Parts of the VZ-RAM HARADA TOUR

Adjustable FCS Interior

The FCS is ARAI’s peel-away FCS cheek pad design incorporated into the ARAI VZ-RAM HARADA TOUR. This feature delivers optimized support and comfort while featuring the company’s 5mm peel-away custom layer plus ERS.

The ERS or Emergency Release System allows for easier removal of the helmet’s cheek pad during emergencies. Medical technicians can immediately and seamlessly slide the pads out using built-in pull tabs located at the bottom of the pads.

PB-cLc Outer Shell

The PB-cLc is also present on the ARAI VZ-RAM HARADA TOUR, though it was primarily for the F1 helmets from ARAI. The presence of the PB-cLc enhances the helmet’s structural integrity while keeping its resilience, shell size, and low weight.

The cLc or Complex Laminate Construction is a special type of felt. It works as a support layer without increasing the ARAI VZ-RAM HARADA TOUR’s weight.

Certifications and Warranties

All helmets from ARAI, including the VZ-RAM HARADA TOUR, are covered under its 5-year warranty. It’s warranted against all workmanship and material defects.

The helmet is also SNELL and JIS-certified so that users can guarantee its quality and effectiveness.

ARAI VZ-RAM HARADA TOUR Helmet – Available Colors and Sizes

There are two colors available for the HARADA TOUR. These are the Harada Tour Devil Black and Harada Tour Cool White.

For the perfect fit, riders can choose from different sizes which include Small, Medium, Large, and X-Large. Their measurements are 55-56cm, 57-58cm, 59-60cm, and 61-62cm.
