VAS Shield System

VECTOR-X GUARD features the VAS Shield System, and its rotational axis is present on the helmet as a virtual axis. For opening and closing the shield, it’s possible due to two tracks: the pin rail track and double pivot function. The previous is based on a virtual axis, while the latter is a function that tracks the shield mounting section.

Adjustable System Interior

There’s a removable and adjustable pad set on the VECTOR-X GUARD’s system interior pad. By detaching the pad, riders can unbind the temporal section by 4mm on one side. If users find the standard specifications rigid, he/she can easily adjust this based on their preference and head size.

The ARAI VECTOR-X GUARD comes with ARAI’s Peripherally Belted Complex Laminate Construction. The belt’s concept is from the company’s F1 technology, which boosts resilience and shell strength. Simultaneously, it maintains a decreased center of gravity and a lightweight form.

It consists of a mechanically-expanded fiber mat squeezed between the outer and inner layers of ARAI’s Super Fiber Laminates. The proprietary laminates help reinforce and bond the two layers without having to increase the helmet’s weight.

Interior: High Fitting, Adjustable, FCS Interior

An FCS cheek pad design is present on VECTOR-X GUARD, and it’s an exclusive 5mm peel-away layer on the helmet. The feature makes use of innovative spring support integrated into the interior’s cheek pad. It aids in adding the necessary amounts of pressure when wearing the GUARD helmet.

The good thing about FCS is that it moves out of the way when removing/putting on the helmet. Also, the presence of the antimicrobial lining material keeps the FCS fresh and clean between cleaning and maintenance.

Certifications and Warranties

All helmets from ARAI, including the VECTOR-X GUARD, are covered under a 5-year warranty. The helmets are warranted against workmanship and material defects.

Aside from being covered under warranty, the ARAI VECTOR-X GUARD is SNELL and JIS-certified. These can guarantee the quality and efficiency of the helmet.

There are three different shades to choose from when purchasing the ARAI VECTOR-X GUARD. These include green, silver, and red.

Riders can choose the helmet based on a variety of sizes. These are Small (55-56cm), Medium (57-58cm), Large (59-60cm), and X-Large (61-62cm).
