Design, Build, and Parts of the ARAI V-cross4
Cap Body: PB-cLc
The ARAI V-cross4 features the proprietary super fiber belt on the V-cross4 helmet. It’s the PB-cLc or Peripherally-belted complex laminate construction based on the company’s F-1 technology.
This feature greatly enhances the shell flexibility and strength while simultaneously maintaining its lightweight form. It’s set across the top eye portion of the helmet along with an EPS liner. These are present to better enhance the field of view of the rider.
ARAI V-cross4 Visor
The ARAI V-cross4’s visor is 14mm longer and 5mm wider compared to that of the V-cross3. This enhanced feature better deflects any form of debris while riding at high-speed. Aside from this, the air outlets of the V-cross4 also received their upgrade, making it larger than earlier models.
Mouth Duct
This helmet features a distinctly-shaped chin bar that has a rounded shape. It also sports a stainless mesh grill placed on the helmet’s exterior vent cap. It’s a feature that can be detached easily, which is necessary for maintenance, cleaning, or replacements.
During the event of an accident, the vent cap of the ARAI V-cross4 can immediately be detached from the chin bar.
Liner
The liner present on the ARAI V-cross4 comes in a detachable new design. Furthermore, the optimized Emergency Release Cheek Pad technology now comes with a release tab. Also, it’s repositioned for easier access by medical technicians during an accident.
Certifications and Warranties
As a premium quality helmet, the V-cross4 is Snell and JIS-certified. It comes with a 5-year warranty against defects in the materials or workmanship of the helmet. Do note that if the damage or defect is caused by the user, it won’t be covered by ARAI’s warranty.
