Hyper Rib

ARAI makes use of the hyper rib for their ARAI ASTRAL-X STINT. It’s a necessary feature for the helmet since it increases the model’s rigidity while smoothening wind flow.

The company designed the hyper rib by extending it to the cap’s bottom, making it function like a shock absorber. Just like a car’s bumper, it optimizes pressure resistance, making the helmet cap’s stronger. Also, the design used for the helmet’s side exhaust allows a smoother flow of wind along the neck area.

VAS Shield System

ARAI incorporated the new shield system, VAS Shield System, to their ASTRAL-X STINT. It sports a mechanism that eliminates the entry of unwanted elements while riding. It gives off a smoother shape to the helmet’s shell while guaranteeing that comfort and durability are maintained.

Hat Body: PB-SNC 2

ARAI utilized the PB-SNC 2 for their ARAI ASTRAL-X STINT. This feature was originally for ARAI’s F1 helmets, but they opted to use it for this specific model. It’s a Peripheral Belt that reaches across the helmet’s forehead area just above the eyes.

The PB-SNC 2 boosts and improves the helmet’s structural integrity while keeping its lightweight feature, flexibility, and shell size. The SNC not only helps reduce the shell’s weight by about three ounces. It also provides better balance while reducing fatigue acquired by the rider.

FCS Interior

To make the interior of the ASTRAL-X STINT better, they used the FCS cheek pad design for this current model. The FCS interior delivers increased comfort and support; plus, it features the company’s 5mm peel-away customized fit layer and ERS.

The ERS or Emergency Release System allows the immediate removal of cheek pads during accidents or emergencies. This feature makes it easier for emergency medics to pull off the pads whenever necessary.

Certifications and Warranties

The ARAI ASTRAL-X STINT is like other helmets from the company since it is SNELL and JIS-certified.

With that, ARAI’s helmets are also covered under a 5-year warranty, where all material and workmanship defects are warranted. However, if the user causes the defects or damages, it won’t be covered.
